Come! Relax and enjoy the exceptional view at our cedar log home overlooking Mayfield Lake. While you stay, use our membership to get free access to the Lake Mayfield Marina and its facilities. Yes! We will transfer our membership to you to enjoy its benefits--including a free boat slip. Our vacation rental is situated on a private corner lot perched above peaceful Mayfield Lake in Lewis County, Washington. Mayfield Lake is conveniently close to Interstate-5 approximately halfway between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. Seattle is a 2-hour drive to the north and Portland is 1-hour, 30 minutes to the south. Lake Mayfield, a little-known secret in Washington, is situated in the Cascade foothills between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. The lake easily accommodates most water activities including fishing, boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, canoeing and swimming. Our vacation home, a cedar log home built in 1979, is 2100 square feet and has 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths (each 3/4.)

The rental house is located in Lewis County nestled in the Cascade Mountain Foothills between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. The house is situated on a 1.2 acre corner lot overlooking quiet Mayfield Lake, a lake created between two dams on the Cowlitz River. The lake is large enough to accommodate most water recreational acitivities. With our resort membership you can access the lake for free, including lauching and docking a boat, swimming, picnicing and fishing. In addition to the lake, nearby national forests and state parks are great daytrip destinations for hikers or sightseers. The central location of our cabin also affords driving to both Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. For the shopping enthusiasts, antique and outlet malls are within an easy 30 minute drive to the twin cities of Centralia and Chehalis. In the winter, White Pass offers great downhill and crosscountry skiing.

Mayfield Lake House Details

The house has a vaulted ceiling and a wall of windows overlooking a wrap-around deck and exceptional view of the lake. The top level is a bedroom loft with its own private balcony. The lower level, a daylight basement with a lake view and deck of its own, is completely furnished. The lower level also contains a moose-themed bedroom with 2 bunk beds kids will love. A stay at our rental is a perfect family get-away. However, busy couples and empty-nesters are also welcome for a relaxing escape.

Amenities: Free access to Marina with boat slip available if needed, Lines and towels provided, two TVs with satellite hookup, DVD, VCR, CD player with radio, washer, dryer, stove/oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, spacious refrigerator, crock pot, electric griddle, roaster, hand mixer, blender, pots/pans, plates, utensils, woodstove (firewood provided), wrap-around deck, gas BBQ, outdoor campfire pit (firewood not provided) Activities: Swimming, sun-bathing, canoeing, paddle boats, boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, sailing, golfing, hiking, and snow-skiing are activities you can enjoy while staying at our rental.
