Screen Porch: Fully equipped Kitchen, queen bed master w/bath, double and twin beds in 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, cable TV/DVD/stereo, fireplace, deck, new washer/dryer, 2 car gar, grill, private yard, bikes and more.
Activities: This property is both a Summer and Winter rental home. Summer activities are related to the close proximity of the mile plus long beach for daytime swimming or to just have a fire on the beach at night to watch the stars over Lake Michigan. Golf courses are very close and hiking trails are found just a couple of blocks away. Biking in the neighborhood is an everyday activity. This neighborhood borders North Point Nature Preserve and Beach. Our favorite activity is sitting on the deck, grilling fresh lake fish, and sampling local wines with friends. This is followed by a fire in the fireplace talking about the days activities. Winter brings in family downhill skiing at Mt. McSauba Recreation Area. Boyne Mt. and Nubs Knob ski resorts are less than 30-40 min away. Cross country ski trails are just down the street.
Area: Carlevoix is known for its friendly atmosphere, great restaurants, summer time outdoor concerts, and the marina right in the middle of town for great evening strolls past the big boats. Petoskey, 15 miles north, has a casino. Charlevoix Lake offers inland boating at its finest. Public access to Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix are abundant with outstanding parks.
