Outdoor seating and a grill allow you to take advantage of the beautiful, sunny weather Bend is known for! The dining room features hardwood floors and seating for up to 8. The hardwood floors extend into the well-equipped kitchen featuring stainless appliances. Everything you need to prepare your own meals is provided; a jennair stove with indoor grill, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and other kitchen essentials. There aren't many rentals that include a 2-car attached garage. We love the ability to keep the skis or golf clubs in the car or store them in the garage when we go out. We provide a rack for skis, snowboards, golf clubs, and also an electric boot warming rack! The garage connects to a utility room which is equipped with washer and dryer. No smoking. Pets allowed upon approval.

Newberry Crater and the High Desert Museum are both located south of Bend on US-97. Our favorite day trips include the 87-mile Cacade Lakes Loop and Crater Lake National Park. Shopping & Dining - Great shopping is availabe in downtown Bend, the Old Mill District and the Outlet Mall. The restaurant selection is even more impressive, our favorites inlcude The Original Pancake House, Tumalo Feed Company, Cascade Lakes Brewing Company and The Pine Tavern.

Hiking - Walk down to Meadowcamp Picnic Area and hike upstream on the Deschutes River Trail. Pass volcanic formations and rushing whitewater all the way to Sunriver. There are many exceptional hikes in the area including a trail to Moraine Lake and the summit of South Sister, starting at the Devil's Lake Campground approximately 6 miles past Mt Bachelor. There are many trailheads off of Cascade Lakes Highway. Smith Rock State Park, located 4 miles east of US-97 at Terrebone, offers great hiking and is a world-famous rock climbing area. Rafting - There is a rafting outfitter right next door to Widgi Creek, and several others in Bend, offering multiple trips per day on the Deschutes River. It is usually unnecessary to make reservations in advance, just show up when you get into town. Sightseeing - Bend has many popular attractions.

Ski: Only 12 miles up Century Drive, Widgi Creek is the closest overnight housing to Mt Bachelor Ski Area. Mt Bachelor gets a ton of snow and has the best terrain in the Northwest.

Golf: Located on beautiful Widgi Creek Golf Course, you can literally walk to the tee box. It's one of our favorite courses. You'll also receive a 15% discount on golf at Widgi! Over a dozen other courses are located within 30 minutes drive. Recommendations include Sunriver-Crosswater, Lost Tracks, Aspen Lakes and Black Butte Ranch-Glaze Meadow.
