Brigantine Magic: Nine years ago we were looking to purchase a shore property in New Jersey and stopped in Atlantic City for some lunch. By some miracle of chance (and curiosity), we happened over a bridge to a small barrier island and the rest is history, as they say! Once we crossed that pathway and discovered Brigantine- we knew why they call this tiny island- New Jersey’s Best Kept Secret! Brigantine offers a quiet retreat from the bustle of everyday life. You won’t find any arcades or boardwalks or bustling nightlife and loud crowds. This is a quaint residential community filled with families who live here year round and fill the parks with soccer and baseball games. Holidays are treated to old fashioned parades and a sense of community spirit with live entertainment in the park on hot summer nights.
We Love To Eat: One of our favorite eateries on the island is the Pirates’ Den located across the ocean on the north end of the island. Located directly across the beach- you can hear the ocean and dive into one of their unique menu items! What we especially appreciate about the restaurants on Brigantine is the great service, food and range of fair prices as well as their casual atmospheres. Most are opened year round which provides a relaxed family feel rather than the fast-paced vacation seasonal eateries
We Love to Relax: Our direct oceanfront condo in the Ocean 21 building provides the best part of a Brigantine vacation. Our top floor unit provides the most breathtakingly beautiful sunrises that just glistens dashes of reds and gold colors across the morning sea. The panoramic views from our large deck will enable the photographer in you to come alive with the dolphins which regularly pass by the shores, We are just steps to the beach and often set up chairs - come back to the condo to have lunch on the deck-while watching our umbrellas waving along the beach. Of course there are lifeguards and ocean activity- but the beach in front of our unit- truly provides one of expansive privacy. We love this laid back and unhurried island and are sure you will too! We spend much of our time on our 24 by 12 oceanfront deck enjoying the views and sounds, or walking the miles of open beaches or relaxing in many of the excellent restaurants. Brigantine truly is New Jersey’s best kept secret!
Ski: Visit anyone of the 6 island marinas for skiing.
Golf: The Links is a public course and is a Scottish Link course, one of the finest in the area. Many of our visitors are on golf excursions and play both on the island and off the island.
