Rotonda West House Details
Awesome Fishing : Rotonda is perfectly placed for keen anglers. With the coast and the coastal waterway right on your doorstep, backwater fishing and salt water fishing are available. For a relaxing few hours, there are good fish stocks in the waterway behind the house. If you want to experience a day with Capt Jarrett Lombard who is one of the top local fishing guides, we can arrange this for you. He runs several flats boats and takes up to 3 anglers at a time and can provide up to 4 boats at any one time, catering for parties of up to 12 anglers. The enthusiastic angler may well have seen Capt Lombard on the ESPN channel. He competes nationally in the Oh Boy O'Berto Redfish tournaments and his clients travel thousands of miles to spend a day with him. We can arrange this for you, subject to availability, but we do need to give him plenty of notice prior to your arrival.
Baseball is Back with a Vengeance! V: Why not enjoy watching the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The minor leaguers are the Tampa Bay Rays new Class-A Florida State League affiliate. Enjoy watching one or more games between April 11 2009 and September 06, 2009. This house offers guests the opportunity to attend one night at the baseball during their stay, subject to availability. We have 8 season tickets with 8 of the best seats in the house! For special rates and availability, please call us for more details. If you are visiting Florida earlier, the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays have their spring training camp at the newly renovated Charlotte Sports Park. The season opens on Wednesday February 25 against the Cincinnati Reds and runs until April 04, 2009.
Fantastic Golf Available: Rotonda alone offers 6 courses with 108 holes and there are dozens more in the local area. Offering everything from beginner friendly courses to 4.5 golf digest courses, you will love this area if you are a golfer! Please ask us for more details.
Golf: There are currently 6 courses on Rotonda with the 7th course due to open provisionally either November 2007 or January 2008 depending on how work progresses this summer. Outside Rotonda there are over 25 more courses within a 25 mile radius.
