Kailua Kona House Summary

This custom, tropical, almost at the beach, house is located in a very quiet small cul-de-sac, one block off Alii Drive, just around the corner from Magic Sands Beach. Tastefully and tropically landscaped, this two-story ocean view pool house has lots of windows to bring the ocean breezes and views in and slate floors, tile roof and large pool and spa to help you stay cool and comfortable. There is a custom rock wall surrounding the property. The upstairs level has a full living room, dining room and kitchen, complete with an entertainment area, as well as a mini office area; all with ocean views and breezes, underneath a beautifully finished natural wood vaulted open beam ceiling. Also up here are two bedrooms; the master having its own full bath and ocean view, the other bedroom is a queen and shares its right next door full bathroom with the living room and dining area. A walk down the open, wide stairway leads to an almost identical floor plan with a couple of exceptions.

  • Oct-Apr $350, May-Sept $300 per night for up to 8 guests, for each additional guest please add $35 per night. Weekly $2100-$2450 Plus 11.4166% GE & TA Taxes and a $260 Cleaning Fee. $250 Refundable Deposit required for reservation, converts to fully refundable security deposit. 1/2 of the rental amount is due 60 days prior to arrival, the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. For Credit Card payment, please add 3% to the total cost.

Kailua Kona House Details

The downstairs master bedroom doesn't have the same views as the one upstairs, but is cooler, and the other bedroom down here (16x13ft) is also cooler, and has two twin beds. The family room on this first floor is identical to upstairs with the exception of no stove. This area is all slate floored, and opens to the large clean enclosed pool, spa, BBQ, and laundry area. There are 4 Full Baths, one in each Master Bedroom (both kings), and two adjacent to the other two bedrooms. 1280 ft per floor (32'x40') for a total square footage of 2560 sq ft. Lots of new art. Each and every room in the house has a phone, TV with cable, and large ceiling mounted fan with light. The stove (a smooth top) and a dishwasher are upstairs, as is the mini office.

BOTH floors have their own; new large refrigerators with ice and water dispensers, coffee makers, large microwaves, toasters, blenders, cabinet and counter and dining areas, as well as tables and chairs and a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping needs. The pool area is complete with multiple seating, dining and lounging arrangements, BBQ and extra gas tanks, Spa, different sized mask, snorkel and fin sets as well as a variety of toys and floats for kids and beach chairs that guests have left for their next visit. The pool is 30'x15', in ground, and 7' deep to 4 1/2' in the shallow end. The spa was replaced in Dec 2004 with a brand new larger one and will hold five adults. A Hayward Auto pool vac was installed in Jan 2005 to keep the pool clean. A complete, large capacity laundry area is off to the side of the pool. Service/maintenance days include; trash pickup on Mondays and Thursdays, pool service every Wednesday, and yard service every other Thursday.

Housekeeping/maid service is performed before and after every guest. Internet service and FAX available. High Speed Road Runner Internet Service was just added along with Digital Cable w/movies for family nights, and there is a Printer/Copier/Fax/Scanner for Internet Flight Services or other searches or staying current with your business(can print boarding pass and on line check-in). Bring a laptop. BR B Activities: /B BR Every conceivable water sport is available in this area, as is golf. One mile to the Keauhou Shopping center, two miles to Keauhou Bay, three miles to town and all it has to offer! BR B Area: /B BR Alii Drive is a short block away, as is Magic Sands Beach Park. Kahalu'u Beach and its' world class snorkeling is a short walk (maybe 1/2 mile). The 4 mile marker on Alii Drive is known for its' underwater caves, is a favored scuba spot, and is around the corner from the house.
