- Both baths are spotless and attractive! We have a new 'Boiler-Mate' and furnace which provide all the hot water that you could want! Our towels are fat and fluffy, we even have beach towels that you can take off-site! We include soap products for bathing, for laundry and for doing dishes either by hand or in the dishwasher.

Bar Harbor House Details
Activities:: The beach at Hadley Point which is only a block away is a public area where you can launch a boat, have picnics, sunbathe, skip rocks and watch for seals and other wildlife. This is a favorite spot for the kayak rental companies to start and end their day trips-it's fun to watch them come and go- you might want to join them! You can swim, boat, hike and ride bikes on your own or go out on a whale-watching tour or sunset cruise on Frenchman's Bay. There are fantastic restaurants, great shopping and even mini golf courses nearby. There is an awesome 'Art Deco' movie theater located in downtown Bar Harbor and two evenings a week there are band concerts on the Village Green. Several art shows are held during the summer and cruise ships come into the harbor weekly! Mt. Desert Island is truly an Unforgettable Place with something for Everyone!
