Washer/dryer, VCR, CD player, two satellite TVs. Cottage no longer has a shared driveway since we put a new private driveway in. 15 minutes away from Traverse City or Sleeping Bear Natl. Lake shore and Lake Michigan beaches. New 1600 ft.alpine slide for summer fun at Crystal Mountain.Activities: 4' x 16' swimming pool, in-line skating on extensive asphalt area, hiking throughout woods; tennis & golf only 2 minutes away. Snowmobile trails right behind cottage. Crystal Mountain only 15 miles. Bring your jet skis, boats (plenty of lakes around) because we have plenty of parking

This cottage has special appeal to groups or families who want to be a short distance away from everything. You can bring your boat with plenty of room for parking and use it in any number of inland lakes around for fabulous boating or fishing. If you are a hiker or biker, there are dozens of trails around within 20 minutes; favorites are the TART biking trail downtown Traverse City, and along Crystal Lake and the new biking trail there; biking along Leelanau County roads and trails is also convenient from the cottage. Swim right at the cottage and keep your kids safe; or take them to Gilbert Beach, just 10 minutes away, Crystal Lake's Private beach, just 10 minutes away, or drive 15 minutes and get to Esch Beach on Lake Michigan, one of the areas most beautiful beaches. Waterparks and cinemas are closeby. Go rafting, canoeing or tubing with the kids at Riverside Canoes and Tubing. 27 fine golf courses nearby, 18+ wineries and great shopping in all the waterfront villages and towns.

For rainy days, you have plenty of entertainment in the cottage. Two satellite receivers give you ample television viewing and there is a DVD with a full DVD library to choose from as well as board games galore. Warm up some popcorn at night, watch a movie and then finish your day with a bonfire and a dip in the hot tub.

Ski: Located just 15 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, you are just a straight shot to the resort and skiing, ski boarding, cross country skiing and great restaurants. Tubing and other downhill and cross country locations within 25 minutes. New for 2008: New summer alpine slide. Snowmobile trail right in back of the cottage on state land. Trails throughout the area. Plenty of room on cottage property for snowmobiles.

Golf: There are over 27 fine golf courses in the area. Mistwood (4-star) has 27 holes and is just 3 minutes from the cottage. 18 wineries. Great restaurants within a few minutes of the cottage. This is such a great location because you are an easy drive to Sleeping Bear Natl. Lakeshore, Glen Arbor, Leland, Frankfort, Traverse City and Crystal Lake.
