Because Sugar Beach Resort is a smaller property, you can actually see the water and the sunsets from the private patio - less than 100 steps to the sand!! The pool area was recently enlarged and the old decking was replaced with beautiful quartzite flagstone. There are plenty of lounge chairs so there’s no need to fight for one. The pool is heated - perfect for an early morning or late night swim. There is a huge Jacuzzi® which is a popular gathering place all day long. If you prefer, there is a large grassy area on the outside of the pool area overlooking the beach which is perfect for sun lounging or reading a book or watching family members play in the sand and ocean. The condo inside is designer decorated with aqua green accent walls and crisp white trim plus a mirrored wall. We just put new carpet in the living room and bedroom. Looks FAB!! The sofa and dining room chairs were recently reupholstered in a rich Hawaiian flowered tapestry fabric.

Very nice!! The sofa is a comfortable queen sofa sleeper. There is an entertainment center with a NEW cable TV and built-in DVD and VCR as well as a radio/tape & CD player. Although the condo is air conditioned, we recently added ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom for those guests who prefer circulated air to cooled air. The bedroom has a king bed with a super comfy mattress and nice quality sheets. New plantation shutters have been installed on the window to allow light and privacy. There is a 2nd TV and VCR in the bedroom and a large closet with new mirrored doors. The adjoining bathroom has a large shower and a new mirrored vanity area. There are plenty of fluffy towels. We just completed a complete upgrade of the kitchen with all new cabinets and appliances. You will find everything you need to make a quick breakfast or cook a fancy dinner or just blend a mai tai.

There’s a new full size refrigerator, smooth-top stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster and coffeemaker. There are plenty of very nice dishes, glasses and pots/pans. Look over the stove for spices and seasonings. The condo has its own washer and dryer. There is central air conditioning that cools every room plus new ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom for those who prefer fresh air to air con. Also included are beach towels, beach chairs and "noodles" for lazy floating in the ocean. Literally everything is provided to ensure a memorable (& romantic) Maui vacation!! The oceanfront BBQ’s are more than just a place to cook steaks!! They are a major gathering place at the end of each day - a fun place to see old friends and meet new people from around the world!! On property, you'll have the convenience of a general store, activity booking center and The Sand Witch - a very cute local restaurant and bar.

Ski: ., Canada "WOW. What a great stay we had here at Sugar Beach! This is our second time to Maui and it was by far a better place than the last place. Snorkeling was very good. There is a family of turtles that live in front of Sugar Beach Resort, so go check them out. Well, hopefully the next guests will enjoy their stay as much as we did. Amenities:
Sugar Beach Resort has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, separate children's pool, sauna and tennis courts (no charge). There is also a small convenience store, an activity desk where you can rent watersport equipment. There is also a small bar and restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. There are several gas BBQ's overlooking the beach.

Sugar Beach Resort is located on one of Maui's best beaches - 5 miles of white sand beach that is perfect for strolling, sunning and swimming. The town of Kihei has tons of shopping and restaurants and is only a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk. It's only 10 minutes to the Maui Ocean Center and 30 minutes to Lahaina town.
