Portland and the gorgeous Maine coast is only an hour away. In winter, there is snowmobiling, ice fishing, ice sailing, snowshoeing, cross country or downhill skiing and snowboarding. Shawnee Peak ski resort is less than a 5 minute drive from our door. At the end of the day come home and enjoy cooking and eating together around our roomy dining table. Or, take advantage of some of the fine restaurants in nearby Bridgton, a place called 'the best-kept secret in Maine' in Down East Magazine. In the evening, settle in for a movie from our extensive DVD collection. Listen to XM satellite radio, providing more than 100 channels of entertainment. Of course, there is cable HDTV with DVR. . Spend time relaxing around the fireplace in the living room playing one of the many games we provide.
