The house has central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. Most of the year there are also sea breezes blowing through, so ceiling fans tend to be enough. The kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, coffee machine, cooker etc. Linen and towels are all included. Fast speed cable Internet access for PC's and dial up available for Macs. There is cable TV. The telephone is for local and incoming calls only.

To make long distance calls, please use make arrangements with your cell phone company for roaming access to the Bahamas or buy a batelco phone card when you arrive in Nassau. There is a private swimming pool for the use of the residents of Harbour Mews, a small beach allows access to the ocean and snorkeling. Just down the road, within walking distance are all the hotels on Cable Beach with the water skiing, sailing and many other activities they offer. The restaurants are numerous. Scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, trips to Harbour Island the Exumas and many other of the 700 islands of the Bahamas are available. Many restaurants are with in easy reach of Harbour Mews and taxis can be found at the hotels. Renting a car is an advantage, but not essential. There are 2 super markets within walking distance, also other facilities like newsstand, post office, banks, drug store etc.

Just west of Harbour Mews is the new shopping complex with restaurants on the water at Olde Towne Sandyport. There is complimentary Double Decker London bus to take visitors down there! A bus service into Bay St. and Paradise Is. runs past the front gates. The trip takes about 15 minutes.
