SNORKELING & SCUBA DIVING: This area is a well-known diving destination. Some of the worlds best Cave and Cavern diving is within a half hour of the properties. DEEP SEA FISHING: From Feb. through March the bill fish are running. The rest of the year these plentiful waters make landing a game fish, almost a sure thing. MAYAN RUINS: It is not only the beaches, the diving or the fishing that attracts many visitors to the area. 3 major Mayan archaeological sites are within easy reach for a day trip.
