Prime Attraction:: If it's sunshine and warm weather you're seeking, Green Valley is the place! The sunny and mild winters, healthful, clean dry air and combination of rolling grasslands, high desert and majestic mountains and canyons lure hikers, tennis players, golfers, bird watchers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and swimmers to visit and even move to Green Valley each year. Annual temperatures average 80 degrees during the daytime and 50 degrees at night, making the area a prime attraction to enjoy outdoor activities all year long.
Recreation Clubs:: Green Valley Recreation (GVR) has 12 recreation centers located throughout the community offering a variety of activities such as swimming, jacuzzi, workout facilities, tennis, billiards, shuffleboard, dances, cards, crafts, ceramics, photography and activity trips to name a few.
