Kapoho Studio Summary

Beautiful beachfront studio overlooking Kapoho Bay surf - includes private natural thermal bathing pool on property. The Breakers is a first floor studio unit located in a private gated community on the eastern-most tip of the Big Island of Hawaii and about 35 minutes from the Hilo airport. It is sheltered by tropical landscaping adjacent to Kapoho Bay Beach and looks out directly at the breakers on the bay. After stepping out of the unit onto the oceanfront lanai and across our lawn you are on the lava stone beach and it is a 100 yard walk to a large geothermally heated pool with a variety of tropical fish. A garden sitting area with stainless steel bar-b-q overlooks our private tidal naturally-heated bathing pool (Japanese Rock Garden Style) which is typically 85 degrees. A comfortable hammock and sitting area are on the oceanside lanai which looks out over Kapoho Bay and the occassional spouting whale.

Kapoho has warm tidepools unseen elsewhere in the world. Whales are spouting offshore from December to April. Swim in 88 degree waters of The Breakers private pool.

Or, if you wish, enjoy the ocean view and a glass of champagne from our Victorian gazebo. The quality studio includes a new travertine marble floor throughout. The living area has queen size bed, and full table seating. It also has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, convection oven, sink and storage. Ample cookware and attractive dishware are included along with free satellite TV with 250 video channels and 150 diverse music channels. The bathroom is complete with shower and new pedestal sink. The quaint town of Pahoa is 7 miles away and boasts excellent international restaurants, an excellent natural foods store and a high end grocery store with deli items from around the world.
