A few steps away from our home the Okemo Resort Shuttle will have you to the base lodge in a mater of a couple of minutes….or, if you wish to go on your own….we are less than a mile to the base lodge. Start your day with a stroll to the Hatchery, one of the finest places in Vermont for a great ‘home-cooked breakfast or lunch. We are walking distance to Trappers, DJ’s Restaurant, Cappuccino's, Pot Belly Pub, etc.

Dozens of great dining possibilities very close to the home. Like to swim? Try one of the many lakes, gorges, and beaches in the area. Buttermilk Falls, a natural gorge with several 'swimming holes' is near our home...great swimming for the entire family. For those that are a bit more daring...there is a rock jump next to the larger falls area that one can jump into a very deep swimming hole. If you are interested in swimming in a truly natural habitat...this should not be missed. Buttermilk falls is only 2 miles away. Our home is a perfect base from which to enjoy the natural beauty of Vermont.
