Taos House Rates

  • $945-$1750
  • Policies:
    Rates may be higher certain holidays and for shorter stays than our required minimum number of nights. Rates are based on 4 person occupancy. $10 per night per additional child, $15 per additional adult up to a maximum of 10 people. State Tax of 7.125% will be added. Casa Truchas has only been on the rental market since July 2008.

    Policies: A deposit of 50% of the total is due to confirm the reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. 30 days cancellation notice (45 days Christmas-New Year's Holiday) is required for full refund of deposit less a 16% handling fee. We are holding your reservation to the exclusion of all others. Therefore, late arrivals and early departures must be charged for their fully reserved stay.
  • Very well behaved dogs are accepted for an additional charge of $10/night or $50/week. We do ask that dogs not be left unattended in the Casita unless they are in a kennel. We provide a dog gate to confine pets to the outside deck. If owners are comfortable with it, dogs can be left on the shaded deck in the warmer months.

  • Instead of a tub, we chose the spaciousness of an extra large shower. The very high ceiling with large clerestory window makes this modestly sized bathroom feel larger than it is and fills it with light.

  • Bedroom 1 - 1 queen, 2 twin/ single, 2 sleep sofa /futon
  • With a romantic queen size canopy bed, the modestly sized bedroom is cozy and welcoming. Off the living room in the sitting area is a day bed with trundle that is also a couch, plus a queen sofa bed. Therefore the Casita can squeeze 6 people. But 4 comfortably.

Notes: Accessibility - there are 3 steps from the the parking area up on to the deck. Then the entire guest house is on one level. Pets - Normally we ask that pets not be left unattended in the Casita unless they are in a kennel, or guests are positive that they will be well behaved if left unattended. We provide a dog gate on the deck so pets can be left on the deck safely.
