Normal use of electricity is included in the rental fee. However if you consume excessive electricity you will be subjected to an additional extra charge (which will be deducted from the security deposit). At the beginning and end of your stay the home administrator will record the stand of the electricity meter. If there is a light over-consumption we just forget about that. The rate to be applied when charging over-consumption is 0.1631 € / kWh (including 23% VAT, prices for 2012). The daily consumption allowance included in the normal rental fee (depending on the season), is as follows:

February, March: 60Kwh
April, May: 40Kwh
June, July, August: 30Kwh
September, October: 40Kwh
November: 60Kwh
December: 70Kwh - Security deposit
When you pay the final settlement of the rental fee (80% if you have payed an initial 20% deposit), which must be payed up to 14 days before the start of your stay, you will be required to deposit an additional amount of € 400. If by the end of your stay there is no damage ((like broken or missing furniture, flat screen TV or internet devices) or the electricity consumption has not been excessive, you will get the security amount refunded in full - to your bank account - within 14 days after the end of your stay in the holiday home. If anything is missing or broken or there has been a significant amount of electricity over-consumption then there will be a deduction from the security deposit - proportional to the estimated damage amount - and the remaining amount (if any) will be refunded to your bank account. In case of any damage, the home administrator will prove that – as possible - with photographic material.
