An ADDITIONAL FEE of $200.00 'minimum' will be charged...IF more than six guests occupy the cabin; IF 'extra/additional' cleaning is required upon your checkout; IF there has been smoking in the cabin; IF a pet has been in the cabin. A repairs/replacement charge will be assessed for damaged or missing items.
METHODS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED: Visa, MasterCard, Discover; Debit Cards; Checks. In lieu of a deposit when paying by check, guest's credit card information is required on file. Guest's Driver's License Information is required. - RESERVATION-CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel 30-plus days prior to arrival date...90% Refund; 10% Cancellation Fee. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival date...No refund is given; however, your deposit/payment can be applied to rebooking new dates for a visit within the next 12 months. (If new dates are booked, then canceled, there will be no refund nor future rebooking credit.) No refunds will be given due to early departure, weather conditions, or other acts of nature. NOT ALLOWED: Large group activities/functions (such as weddings, parties, reunions, etc.) involving more than the cabin's maximum number of guests, six/6, are not allowed in the cabin due to insurance/safety restrictions.

- The main entry level bathroom and the downstairs/gameroom bathroom are full baths with a vanity, toilet (of course!) and shower stall. The upstairs, loft bathroom has a vanity, toilet, and combination tub/shower.

- Our cabin theme is the Smoky Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with rustic/cabin/National Park decor. Whisperwind can sleep six guests comfortably ~ and all can enjoy a good night's rest in 'real' beds. (There are no sofa sleepers nor futons in the cabin.) Whisperwind's main entry level Private Bedroom offers a Queen Log Bed, TV, American Indian/black bear decor, ceiling fan. The upstairs Open Loft area features two Single Beds, rocking chair, quilt rack, ceiling fans, and a view down onto the main floor living room and fireplace, (and if you have little ones, some friendly Tebby Bears waiting for children to play with!). The Private Loft Bedroom contains a King Log Bed, TV, chair, ceiling fan, and vaulted ceiling. Some of the furnishings in the cabin are 'old', such as great-grandmother's hope chest and her 'old' dresser and 'cedar robe', so please be gentle with them. (No beds on the downstairs level; sleeping NOT allowed downstairs.)

GOT WILDLIFE? YES WE DO! ~ Occasionally a Black Bear will mozy through & steal 'dinner' from our fruit trees. If you beat the bear to the fruit, please pick & enjoy it, for us! GEESE~There are several ponds scattered around the valley & the geese make these their home. When we hear them coming -honking- we rush outside to the deck to watch them fly over, often at tree top level. Sometimes it's just a pair & other times it's the whole flock! SQUIRRELS~There are a few squirrels who seem to have adopted the cabin & you will see them scurring about on the outside rafters. We try not to feed them lest we end up with more squirrels than people! BIRDS~Our trees are home to a variety of birds which are a real delight - including the woodpeckers who love to peck holes in our cabin - so we have 'guardian owls' on duty for protection! SKUNKS~We seldom see them, but we can smell when they've been around! RABBITS~You'll often catch them hopping & nibbling along the back yard tree line!
