- The bedrooms are at the back of the house so the rising sun doesn't wake you up too early — leave the room-darkening shades and blinds open if you want to make the most of the day and get up with the sun and the lobstermen! The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a larger bed. A bunk house, just 20 feet or so from the main house, provides sleeping space with its own views, electricity and two twin beds.

The kitchen, living room and dining room are all located in one large area — the kitchen is large and modern with everything needed to prepare meals at home. A breakfast bar with stools separates the kitchen from the dining area — here find a table with seating for 6 to 7 and fabulous views of the deck and the waterfront.The living room area is spacious with comfortable seating and a new flat screen television, but it may be difficult to pay attention to the TV when directly outside your door the sun is setting over Hog Island and boats are coming in for the night. The cottage also offers space for a laptop computer and DSL Internet connection for those who need to work during their vacation.At the front of the house is a wonderful deck with a retractable awning for when shade is needed from the sun. The deck offers 3 gliders with cushions and the railing is built as seating as well. If you don't have your own watercraft, a kayaking outfit just down the road provides rentals and tours.
