  • Normal check in time 4 p.m. Normal time of departure 11 a.m.

    Deposit of 33% of total cost required on booking and balance payable 42 days before arrival. If booking is within 42 days of date of arrival full payment is required at time of booking.

    €50 per week electricity/oil heating deposit against use of electricity and heating is required at time of arrival. Electricity and Oil are extra and are metered and actual cost is calculated at time of departure.

    Cancellation charges.
    If you have to cancel for whatever reason, we reserve the right to make a cancellation charge as follows:-
    More than 42 days: deposit.
    22-42 days: 60% of rental.
    8-21 days: 75% of rental.
    Less than 8 days: 100% of rental.
    Euro payment only by direct bank transfer or cheque.

    It is important that guests provide their own comprehensive travel insurance to cover any injury or damage to their belongings during their stay.

Notes: The lodge is part of the small family farm. Family records of the farm go back to 1685 when the farm was purchased. Glenview Lodge is recorded on the ordnance survey maps printed in the 1830s.The house was renovated with care in 2005 thus ensuring its character was retained. Area of house:1020sq.ft. Lounge includes traditional features including bellows and crane in fireplace and bookcase with books by Irish authors. Kitchen dining room includes traditional features such as an Irish kitchen dresser. There is a ground floor toilet and all bedrooms are on the first floor. The patio door from the living room leads to the terrace garden area to enable dining and relaxation in the garden area. Enjoy the wonderful views from the farm of the local countryside. Orchard area is included in gardens.
