Other Information: Maximum number of suggested guests 8. (Comfortably accommodates 6 adults and 2 children. If more than 6 adults, please call for additional pricing. Children over 2 yrs old are counted in total guests.) Sorry but no pets allowed.
Activities: This is a perfect location to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking as well as local area attractions. Summer - Enjoy the Lake! Or any of the dozens of activities the Adirondacks have to offer. Lake George, outlet shopping and Great Escape all within 15 min and Saratoga horseracing 20 min. White water rafting right in Lake Luzerne! Rent a boat and use the boat launch around the corner from the chalet. There is also beach access across the street (small grassy area with pavilion). Fall - Come for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival (September) and beautiful fall foliage. Bring the family for Thanksgiving dinner.
Ski: Ski locally at West Mountain in Glen Falls only 15 minutes from the house. West Mountain has a lodge, ski trails, tubing and snowboarding. Drive a bit further to Gore Mountain north of Lake Luzerne. Gore offers more competitive skiing and local ski-town atmosphere.
