Thurmont House Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- A surcharge (for cleaning) is $15/night/guest for any guest total over 6. Credit card payment add 3%
- We do have special rates for HOLIDAYS and LOCAL EVENTS-please check with us. A fee ( mostly for cleaning) is also required if a pet is allowed. The fee is negotiable, based on all factors involved with the pet. We don't have hidden fees- if you are confused about the fees, call or write us for confirmation. We also consider discounts for just two people or longer stays than a week. We are flexible!!!
- This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. Longer stays may be required during holiday or local festival periods. If a rental is reserved or used for less than 2 days, The guest will be charged for the two night rate. A cleaning charge of $75 is charged for up to 6 guest. $100.00 cleaning fee is charged for over 6 guest. There will be a $100.00 fee for group gatherings over 15. (ie: family reunions, weddings etc.) CHECK IN 4PM CHECK OUT 11AM. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.

- New in 2005, used little ( this was formerly a guest house only for family) The baths have a black/white theme, reminiscent of the early 20th century. Both have 'steam' showers, fully enclosed for warm showering on cold days. The showers have frameless glass shower enclosures.

- Two large sofas, very comfortable. As of June 15,2010, all beds have new Hypo Allergenic Mattress Pads, new sets of 400 count sheets and pillow cases, and several new coverlets. We have also purchased all new luxury towels and linen for the bathrooms, and bathmats are provided in the baths to make you feel more secure when showering. We have also added a NEW Murphy bed (and mattress) to the lower brick bed room. Two of the beds are pencil post beds, made by the homeowner/woodworker Bill from period patterns- very beautiful!
