St Lawrence Gap: Located on the south coast of Barbados, St Lawrence Gap features an aqua blue sea, beautiful white beaches, and many restaurants, offering a wonderful holiday destination without need for a rental car (although it's lots of fun to rent a car and explore the island). St Lawrence Gap is safe, well-lit, friendly, with eateries at every price point. Everything you need is within walking distance: a small market, beaches, shops, restaurants, and night life.
Barbados: The Jewel of the Caribbean: Barbados is 14 x 21 miles in size. Because it sits outside the Caribbean archipelago, it sees very few hurricanes; the last was in the 1950s. The island boasts the most repeat visitors of any Caribbean island ... and when you visit you'll see why: exquisite weather with a gentle breeze, a brilliant blue sea, and sugar-white beaches. There's lots to do: take a catamaran cruise and swim with our giant, gentle sea turtles; explore Harrison Cave; tour George Washington House; visit Bathsheba on the east coast where the Atlantic Ocean crashes against the shore, carving the giant rocks into beautiful mushroom-shaped sculptures; visit the Mount Gay rum plant; dangle over a rum punch as the sun sets at one of our many wonderful restaurants; and much more.
