Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

- Deposit:
A deposit of 50% of the rental amount is due at the time of reservation, payment in full is due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. To save on fees, we will of course gladly accept full payment at the time of reservation.
For holiday rentals (including any of the dates of December 19, 2009 - January 3, 2010), payment in full is due at the time of reservation.
No reservation is confirmed until we receive deposit and a rental agreement completed and signed by you.
Payment options:
* By certified check/money order to Virginia.
* By PayPal, please add 3.5% for our fees.
* By credit card or eCheck via PayPal, please add 3.5 % for our fees. If a payment via PayPal originates outside the US, please add another 1% to rental fee + 3.5% for the 'border crossing fee'.
* By wire transfer to Costa Rica, please add $ 10 for bank fees in CR. Additionally, most banks in the US charge $ 40 to send an international wire. - Damage Deposit:
There is a $300 cash security deposit required upon arrival. This deposit will be refunded to you upon departure, after the premises have been found to be in a satisfactory condition.
Renter is responsible for the inventory and will be charged for any missing or damaged items. This includes the property, e.g. walls, doors, fixtures, etc.

- The 'ocean view' bed is a Costa Rican king size, 200cm x 200cm/80' x 80', with orthopedic mattress, good pillows and cotton sheets. The bedside lamps have dimmers for mood lighting or for allowing one to sleep and one to read. The bed can be shaded from view by a floor to ceiling curtain.

Nosara Studio Details
Cancellation Policy: : Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of required deposit amount. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival are considered non-refundable unless we are able to rebook the property for the dates you had reserved. If we rebook the property, we will refund a prorated share of the rental fee for each day we are able to fill, less a $50 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds because of the malfunction of the contents of any of the units. We try to keep all unit contents in good working order and any problems will be addressed as quickly as possible.
Age limit.: For now, our lower age limit is 14 years. By the start of 2010, this will change so our lower age limit will be 18 years, and a truly relaxing, adult atmosphere is included in the price. No matter your age, you will love the pool which is the largest private pool in the area. The pool, garden and pool house with bathroom is very private behind vegetation, tall fences and high walls.
Getting around.: It takes 10-15 minute to walk to the beach or the mouth of Rio Nosara for swimming, fishing, and shell collecting. (Coming back takes a little bit longer, because it is up-hill part of the way.) Also within walking distance: Rancho Suisso Restaurant, Pancho's Market and Taverna, La Luna Restaurant, LaGarta Lodge, Leroy's River Tours, and Beate's Horseback Riding Tours. Car or ATV is necessary for trips to Nosara Village and beyond. If you decide not to rent a vehicle for your entire stay, there is taxi service for a reasonable price and now three car rental places where you can rent for a day or more. Nearby Playa Guiones is one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. Surf Guiones during the day, but stay in peace and quiet on top of the hill above Playa Pelada, where the breezes will make it cool and comfortable. Between July and December, the Olive Ridley sea turtles come to Playa Ostional, half hour away, to nest. Seeing this is a truly amazing experience
