Entertainment at Ironstone: This luxury home offers cable television service in most rooms: 60 inch plasma HDTV in the media/game room which includes DVD player. 32 inch flat panel TV located on main level den with DVD. 27 inch TV located in master suite with DVD. 21 inch TV in kids room with DVD/VCR, and 27 inch TV in king bedroom. A DVD/VCR movie collection is provided for viewing with both children and older themes, including new releases. Board games include: monopoly, scrabble, backgammon, chess, checkers and Yahtzee board games. Additional collection of board games, jigsaw puzzles, and paperback books are also available.
Cooking at Ironstone: We offer a large propane grill and side burner out on the deck, with plenty of platters and grilling utensils. The kitchen has all the utensils and a gourmet 6 top burner stove with extra large oven and warming drawer. No matter your taste in cooking, we have the tools to get the job done.
27 Hole Golf Course: Rated among the top 20 best golf courses in Georgia by Golf Digest, the Sconti golf course was designed by John Lee; recognized as one of America's most respected golf course architects. The challenging 27-hole course weaves through lakes, woods, mountain meadows, and covered bridges. Open all year to residents and guests of Big Canoe, the green's fees vary from weekday to weekend, depending on Prime Season (April through November, and Holiday weekends) and off-season for those staying as a guest in our home. Cart rental and soft spikes are mandatory. Dress code requires shirts with a collar, and no jeans. The Sconti Golf Club also has a putting green and driving range. We can call in Tee Time arrangements for you upon request, up to a week in advance of your play date.
