The town's produce market is few feet away from the building's entrance. There are numerous street vendors selling delicious watermelon and cantaloupe. The bakeries sell wonderfully tasting breads and pastry specialties.A ride to Constantza and N to Mamaia is a whole day trip, worthwhile. There are lots of night clubs everywhere, restaurants, live music. The walks by the sea are great.
