Boerne, Texas: The city of Boerne is located minutes away. Wonderful shopping and restaurants are located here. The main house and the guest house each provide a kitchen, private bath and multiple bedrooms, while the game house (sure to be the kid's favorite spot!) features a pool table, ping pong/air hockey table, 2 foosball tables, and many other exciting games for both kids and adults alike. All three structures have wood-burning fireplaces and ample space for the entire group
If you'd rather play outdoors, you'll have 250 acres of open wilderness and hiking trails, including 4 small caves that many a young explorer will enjoy discovering. Bird watching and wildlife viewing (deer, turkey, armadillos, owls, etc), is best accomplished from one of the many flagstone porches dotting the property. As an additional bonus, your rental includes a free Hay Ride to offer an overview of the entire property
Right on the property lays a half mile of shaded Guadalupe River bank perfect for swimming, tubing, and fishing. Enjoy a relaxing 15 minute tube ride along the upper banks of the river or an even longer trip to the nearby bridge. The delicious scent of Texas BBQ will pull you out of the waters to your lovely outdoor dining area. The Grill Master in the family will love the outdoor cooking amenities: a BBQ Grill and an authentic Texas Smoker perfect for perfecting your Texas barbecue technique. Take in the wide open star-filled Texas sky as you enjoy an outdoor meal and refreshing cocktails with loved ones.
