Berkeley Elmwood / Rockridge best neighborhood: Our neighborhood is quiet and safe and very pleasant to walk around in. This is an ideal location in the San Francisco Bay Area as it is near all sorts of public transportation, freeway access, shopping, etc. Near the corner of Woolsey and Colby – a couple short blocks to College Avenue. Walk to UC Berkeley, BART, many local bus lines, or use our Free Off-Street Parking and drive to San Francisco in 20 minutes. Freeway access is well under a mile. Wonderful book stores, restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, chocolate shops, bakeries (La Farine), Market Hall deli and specialty shop, cheese shops, etc. This is a foodie's heaven. There are 3 wonderful small playgrounds just a couple short blocks away that include toys for the kids. A new innovation in kid-care is the nearby Tumble and Tea cafe where parents bring their kids to play while the parents drink tea or coffee. A great place to bring your small child when the weather is rough. Full menu, too.
Hotel Amenities: Basket of goodies gets you started. Free off-street parking. Two bicycles included for your local use complete with helmets and maps. Garden with deck, grape arbor, BBQ and hammock. Main bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet and bathrobes are provided. Second bedroom has 2 fullsize beds and a large closet. Graco Pack and Play included. The full dining room seats 6. The kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking and meals so you don't have to eat out all the time. Carpeted living room includes an overstuffed leather chair, sofa, armchair and lots of pillows. TV with free DishTV, DVD/CD player. Free high speed wireless Internet. Garden with deck for your pleasure. Beautiful light throughout.
Lots of Comfy Furniture and Pillows: Our vintage, 1910, flat is upgraded for comfort. This flat is not occupied -- so you won't be living among someone else's life.
