Summer Activities: Bennington is full of activities in the Summer, with our State Parks, Summer in the Park Music Festivals, July 4 Fireworks, Ethan Allen Days, Chocolate Festivals and many other attractions that highlight our Southern Vermont hospitality and Heritage. Tour the Battle of Bennington battle grounds, and go atop the Bennington Battle Monument to get a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.
More Activities Than You Can Do In A Week: Visit Vermont covered bridges and observe how they were constructed. Tour historic homes and learn about their famous inhabitants. See your favorite cars of yesteryear at an old fashioned filling station, with full service pumps with window washing and personal service. Tour a world renowned pottery shop and see potters at work. Pick your own strawberries, blueberries or apples in season. If you're after skiing, there are many different ski areas to choose from: Bromley, Stratton, Mount Snow and Killington to name a few.
