In the back of the home is a large deck with a gourmet barbecue and a large hot tub. If someone in your party enjoys smoking please have them use one of these two decks. If you enjoy cooking and entertaining you’ll have plenty of space and amenities to take advantage of. In the kitchen we have a large six burner Viking gas range and two ovens. Also, a large Sub-Zero Refrigerator. We would like to welcome you with a nice bottle of wine or brandy with our compliments. Enjoy the dramatic high ceilings and skylights throughout our home. Even on an overcast winter day the skylights give warmth through their natural passive solar heating effect. The handmade custom dining room table seats 12 people comfortably and is perfect for holiday gatherings, celebrations, conferences, even off site meetings for your organization or group.

We love animals, especially our dog Harley. So we know how important it is to find a place that welcomes pets. The home has light colored carpeting throughout so if your pet is well behaved and clean we are open to having them stay with you. We understand that sometimes older pets, (and young ones) might be more accident prone so this is a concern. If you’d like to bring your pet let us know and we can determine if it’s a good fit. Because of this park and our year round running stream we have an extra active population of wildlife! On any day you’ll be surprised by the variety… falcons, turkeys, deer, our resident nesting swallows, blue herons (please ask them to leave the Koi pond), a pair of Ravens, river otters, an occasional skunk, raccoon, and maybe a bobcat. There are always birds to enjoy. We are just North of the Village of Mendocino. Take the Russian Gulch State Park turnoff on Highway 1, (just 2 miles north of Mendocino).

Our neighbor... : The Pt. Cabrillo Lighthouse Preserve; a unit of California State Parks, it includes the historic 1909 Light Station and almost 300 acres of undeveloped coastal bluffs and prairie. You can learn more about them with a quick internet search. The lighthouse is very beautiful and adds its unique charm even at night and in winter storms.
