Truro House for Rent: Peaceful and Private Home in Truro -- New Construction Outstanding - Property 243168

Breathtaking Interior: As you enter, you are in a foyer that is about 8x10. The beautiful staircase is in front of you. There is white beadboard wainscoting and the walls are pale grey. The foyer has tile on the floor, which is a variegated grey, with streaks of lavender and sienna in it. The tile is also in the kitchen, the pantry, and various other parts of the first floor. To your left is the entrance to the living room, which is defined by two columns and other 'architectural' details. The living room is large (14x26). It has a blue sofa, two blue easy chairs, and two window seats, each of which is surrounded by a built-in bookcase. There is more of the white beadboard wainscoting in here. The walls are the same pale grey. We have an 'audiophile' quality stereo in that room (Krell, Marantz and B&W). There is a sliding door out to the deck and there are 4 other windows in the living room. It is carpeted. The kitchen is a cook's dream, with a gas range and a lot of counter space.

Second Floor -- Bedrooms and TV Room: The second floor has three bedrooms, and a fourth room that has a pull-out sofa bed that could serve as a 4th bedroom. All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans. The master bedroom has wood floors. It has an incredibly comfortable 'California King' sized bed (with a 'pillowtop' mattress). The other two bedrooms are carpeted. The 'second' bedroom contains two twin beds. The 'third' bedroom also contains two twin beds. We added extra soundproofing insulation in the bedroom walls, so each room should be reasonably well insulated from noise. There is a bathroom off the master bedroom that has a large whirlpool tub in it plus a shower (see photo). There is also another full bathroom on the second floor. The 'fourth' room I mentioned before is intended to be a 'family room', which is where we have the TV (see photo). That room has a pull-out sofa bed and we have often used it as a 4th bedroom.

Overall -- Tranquility, Happiness, and Great Beach: The essential character of the house is harmonious. The place has feng shui. Being in the house makes you feel tranquil and happy. Truro is generally considered to have the nicest beaches on the Cape. The National Seashore owns the vast majority of both coastlines, which has left Truro in a very natural state. There is no commercial development near the water and there is very little residential development near the water. Truro has a decent range of restaurants, but the best dining is found in Provincetown (some very good restaurants there), which is about 8 miles away, and in Wellfleet, which is about 5 miles away. There are shops in both P-town and Wellfleet.

Golf: There is a local public golf course.
