Monroe County, Florida 28 Day Rule.
The Monroe County Board of Commissioners has voted to disallow short-term rentals in most residential neighborhoods. This means we are no longer allowed to rent these homes on a weekly basis and can only rent for periods of 28 days or more to no more than one party.
Peak Season Dates
Peak Season: Runs from mid-December through March 31st and July & August for Lobster Season.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation inside 60 days of arrival is subject to forfeiture of full payment. Cancellation outside of 60 days is subject to 25% forfeiture. If owner or agents are able to rebook the premises, tenant will receive a refund less a $100 cancellation fee. Please notify us as soon as possible of cancellation and a WRITTEN NOTICE OF CANCELLATION

Big Pine Key House Details
Start the day sipping coffee on the upstairs porch before heading out on your boat, which is conveniently docked right at your doorstep. The clean, clear, wide and deep canal heads straight out to Pine Channel. There is a Marina very close by for fuel and necessities you might need before heading out on your water adventure. You can either head south on your boat to the Atlantic Ocean that is limitless with activities of fishing, diving at the best dive location in the Keys at Looe Key Reef, snorkeling or just spending a relaxing day on the water. Or you could head north in Pine Channel to the Bayside for flats fishing, kayaking or navigating your way through the mangroves and keys and explore the abundant wildlife for which the Florida Keys are so famous.
If you wish to stay on land, we are located only 10 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park with an award winning beach, half hour from Sombrero Beach in Marathon or just a half hour in the other direction to Key West for more beaches, shopping, entertainment, music, great restaurants, and local events that show the Keys' true colors! Locally, Big Pine Key ares offers miniature golf and restaurant for entire family fun, tiki bars, dive shops, Big Pine Key Flea Market every Saturday and Sunday. There is something for everyone's Florida Keys vacation fun. End your fun-filled day, or just a day of hanging in the hammock and reading a book, with an evening on the porch surrounded by soft ocean breezes. Whatever you do, your stay at 'Blue Heaven' will be most memorable.
