- All the bedrooms are very large ranging from 14' x 15 1/2 to 14' x 18'. Each bedroom has vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans and views of the oceans. Each bedroom is painted in a slightly different blue, ranging from a light ocean blue to sky blue. Three of the bedrooms have wide French doors opening up to their own private large porch - directly with ocean views & breeze. Listen to the endless sound of the ocean, the early morning chirps of the birds, and the occasional lobster boat returning to Perkins Cove with its catch. Hardwood floors with cottage style throw rugs. Master Bedroom: king-size bed, private bath, steam walk-in shower, Jacuzzi, washer/dryer private deck facing the ocean. Large TV . Bedroom 2 - King-size bed, private bathroom, private deck. Bedroom 3 - King-size bed, private bathroom. Bedroom 4 - Queen-size bed and bunk beds. Perkins Cove: The Island House is adjacent to Perkins Cove boutique shopping, art galleries and local cuisine restaurants, and to the Marginal Way which borders the ocean and takes you to Ogunquit Town Beach. More restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Easy drive to Outlet shopping in Kittery, ME! Also a short walk across the drawbridge to the Ogunquit Art Museum, a short ride to The Ogunquit Theatre.
Beach and Water Activities: –Walk or take the trolley to the Ogunquit Beach! Kayaking - nearby. Surfing - available. Fishing- Charters Available. Sailing - Charters Available.
At The House: Relaxing-Sitting on the porch with a book or a glass of wine, looking out at the ocean and the magnificent sunsets, while listening to the sound waves. Sleeping-the intensity of the Ocean, waves crashing, releasing an abundance of pure clean air- induces the best sleep your can ever imagine. Cooking and entertaining: enjoy the gourmet kitchen or the large Wolf gas grill to make fantastic meals for your family and friends. Lobsters available at the local pier. Golf: There are golf courses open to the public just a few miles from the Island House. Also the Par 3 at Merriland Farms. Eat fresh blueberries between holes. Great fun for the family. Kids love out performing their parents.
