House Features: Spectacular passive-solar architect designed house with grill-work stairs following the terrain. While the structure is contemporary and eye-catching, the furnishings and interior are amazingly warm and comfortable. Elevated main level feels like luxurious treehouse living. Spacious and cozy spaces with oversized windows bring nature indoors. The tin ceilinged great room - living area, kitchen, large butcher block counter, dining table (space to dance, cook and chat all at once!) - rises to two-story southern views, and a low awning sun-hall. Perched in a high corner is an interior sitting balcony with rocking chair, reading lamp, and blooming cactus shelf (this space has a straight-line view of the eastern moon from Bedroom 1). High shelves and walls throughout the house display a collection of contemporary art and photography.
