Amenities: Powderhorn is the Flagship Ski-In/Ski-Out Building Located in the Heart of Solitude village and offers the most desirable and central village lodging and Ski access. A Complimentary Laundry facility is on site, a Private Outdoor Hot Tub Area as well as a multilevel underground secured indoor heated Garage are all within this Lodge as well as the convenience of a Ski Rental and Ski Tuning Shop and a Ski Ticket office. Complimentary Private heated Ski & Snowboard Locker Storage Facility is also located in the lobby for ski in/out convenience upon entering and exited Powderhorn. Club Solitude features a Year Round Outdoor Pool with 2 large Hot Tub Jacuzzi's and Finnish Wood Saunas to ease and relax your body and mind after your never ending day on the slopes. Even an Outdoor poolside fire ring for inspiring gatherings and boasting about the double diamond run you took through waist deep powder.
The lobby enjoys a Beautiful Woodsy intimate sitting area in front of the Stone Fireplace to relax with family or make new friends from all over the country and world. Also a Fitness Room with Modern Resistance and Aerobic Equipment and Free Weights with 3 Overhead TV Monitors, if you didn't get enough exercise on the slopes all day. The Club also has a Pool Table and Big Screen Private Theater with Nightly Movies and a Children's Room with an X box and game room ... something for every member of your Family...even Foosball!
Ski: World Class Skiing and Boarding Solitude Ski Resort has great terrain for every level of skier. The resort is known for uncrowded slopes and no lift lines. Located in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, the resort receives an annual snowfall of 500 inches. The base elevation is 7,988 feet and peak elevation is 10,035 feet. Solitude has 1200+ skiable acres, including 64 designated trails, powder bowls, gladed tree runs, steep chutes, and gentle cruising runs with 2,047 feet of continuously skiable terrain. The longest descent is 3.5 miles down Honeycomb Trail. Nordic Center for Cross-Country Skiing and Snow Shoeing Easily accessible from the Solitude Village, the Nordic Center offers 20 kilometers of superbly prepared trails set for both classic and skating styles of Nordic skiing.
