Hatteras House Details
About Hatteras Island: For the past 35 years, we have vacationed on the Outer Banks of NC. Approximately 15 years ago, we discovered Hatteras Island. Since that time, Hatteras Island is the only place on the Outer Banks that we vacation. We found a less congested, more peaceful area. The ocean temperature is more consistent, unlike the northern Outer Banks, which is affected by the cold Labrador currents, Hatteras benefits from the warm Gulf Stream currents. Here you will find beaches that you can drive on and you experience sites like no place else. For these reasons, we decided to build a home and share it with others.
