Notes: FAQ Answers: Pets under 40 lbs that are on flea/tick prevention are welcome. There is a 25.00 per reservation pet fee. The cabin is about 1.5 miles from the Main Hwy 19/74. Far enough that you hear NO HIGHWAY ROAD NOISE, but close enough to make traveling easy. Yes, the cabin is private. There are no houses in front to obstruct the view, and no homes behind you looking down. You will pass 1 house about 300 feet before you get to this one and there is 1 house way past this one that you will not see. It is private, but not scary secluded. I hope this helps to answer some common questions I am asked. Our goal is to provide the most comfortable, clean, peaceful, affordable accommodations possible. Internet is available, computer is not provided

Out the front Door:: There is relaxing, bon fire pit, 45 acres of hiking, 3 ponds for fishing, tennis and basketball (yes, tennis and basketball courts in the middle of the woods)...

Just minutes Away:: Whitewater Rafting, Appalachian Hiking Trails, Sully (for Biking), 7-8 Restaurants from fine dining to Burgers and Pizza, Antiquing, Full service Spa, Fishing Lakes and Creeks... Bryson City with festivals, shops, cafe's, and the Train. The train offers scenic and theme trips regularly. A favorite is the Polar Express with Santa, his Elf, and all the children in pajamas sipping hot chocolate.

Within a Short Drive:: Golfing (Public Course) is about 25 minutes, Shopping, Antiquing is about 5 min. away, Quaint Mountain Towns (Bryson City is 15 min. and Andrews is about 30 min. Murphy is about 40 min. Franklin is about 30 min.) Skiing and Sledding are about 35 min. away, Asheville is about 45 min. Harrah's Casino is within a 30 minute drive.
