Wonn's Web...on Spider Lake is a year around: lake home in the heart of the Pere Marquette forest in Grand Traverse County. This beautiful inland lake has five islands and is home to nesting pairs of Loons and other wildlife, and is enjoyed by boaters, fishermen and other water recreational vehicle enthusiasts. Visitors are immediately struck by the clarity of Spider Lake's crystal clear waters and the beautiful views afforded by a lake nestled in tall pines and oak trees. The lake is home to bass, bluegills, perch, crappie, pike and an occasional walleye. This home's lake side deck looks out to islands one and two and is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Furnishings include a wine station, dining table and chairs, and glider. The deck at the rear of the home is where visitors will want to grill the day's catch or just enjoy the peaceful and serene surroundings.
If golf is yor pleasure, rest assured you are no : more than 7 minutes from world class courses (4) and a public course that is the best value in Grand Traverse County. Traverse City is home to some of the best beaches in Michigan (all free) and the National Cherry Festival. It is also known for its shopping and fine dinning. The original Don's Drive-In is located in Traverse City where you will be whisked back to 1955 as you enjoy a burger and malt and browse the antique cars that congregate every weekend. Children will LOVE the Zoo or amusement park with Go-Cart racing, miniture golf, and a giant water slide...there's something for everyone in Traverse City.
Turtle Creek Casino is 10 minutes from: Spider Lake and affords all manner of gambling and dining. Or if you prefer, stay home and enjoy a campfire by the lake or an evening cruise on the lake. The rental includes a 14 foot fishing boat with 5 hspw outboard motor, a skiff with electric motor, a Sunfish sail boat.
