Shelburne House Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- The rental period is Saturday - Saturday. Check in is after 4 p.m. Check out is no later than 10 am
- Payment Schedule:
A $500 CDN per week deposit is payable at the time of booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received. The balance plus the damage deposit is due 90 days prior to arrival. Upon receipt of the balance, you will receive a check-in package including detailed information about the property and area. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, personal check or money order. Please note, there is a $25.00 charge for NSF checks.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit of $250.00 is due along with any outstanding balance 90 days prior to arrival. The damage deposit will be returned to you within 14 days after your departure, provided there is no damage to the rental beyond normal wear and tear; there is no additional cleaning required and the key has been returned. - Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel your reservation; your cancellation notice must be made in writing - either by fax, email or mail. For cancellations received between 30 and 60 days prior to your arrival date, 75% of the rental fee is forfeited. 30 days prior to the arrival date, 100% of the rental fee is forfeited. In all cases, the damage deposit of $250.00 is refunded in full. Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals will make every effort to re-rent the property, however we cannot guarantee re-rental. No-shows, late arrival and early departures after arrival are all non-refundable.

Shelburne House Details
Adjacent to the central living room is a fully equipped kitchen, separate office and laundry nook. At either end of the house is a queen size bedroom each with plenty of closet space, and sliding patio doors to the ocean view deck. Each bedroom has a three-piece bathroom at its door. The lower level has a third queen size bedroom adjacent to an exercise and entertainment room featuring an infrared sauna, a Foosball Table, StairMaster, bench press, weights and “body opponent” punching bag. From the deck, the house enjoys unobstructed views of the lake and the ocean. A boardwalk connecting the deck to the dock, beach chairs and a BBQ complete the perfect picture. Enjoy stunning sunrises, unspoiled scenery and the abundance of wildlife that drop by for a visit. So pack your suitcases and enjoy secluded living and the sense of total privacy, peace and quiet. Just like a dream! Please note: Red Head Beach is not a private beach there is a public path at the other end of the beach.
The closest town is the charming historic town of Shelburne. Set on a truly spectacular harbour unspoiled by industry or shipping. Across the harbour from the town is Island's Provincial Park. Shelburne has a number of great restaurants, nteresting museums, a theatre, sailing school and all the amenities of a small town.
If the dates that you are interested in are not available, please contact us. We have over 30 different properties along the South Shore - all of which have either ocean view or ocean access. Many of them are still be available for rent in the summer.
