WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE NEARBY?: Tallulah Gorge State Park, Foxfire Museum, Black Rock Mountain State Park, Moccasin Creek State Park, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, white water rafting on the Nantahala River or the Chattanooga River, great golf at Kingwood Resort and Sky Valley Resort, and much more. Highlands NC (many shops and boutiques, great restaurants), Franklin NC (movie theater, The Fun Factory with arcades, batting cages, bowling, go carts & more, family restaurants), Dillard (antique shops, the Dillard House restaurant).
WHERE IS THE CABIN?: My Cabin in the Mountains is nestled on the side of Hannah Mountain, 2 miles North of Dillard GA, right over the Georgia/North Carolina state line, 3/4 mile off of a four-lane, Hwy 441. An easy 2-hour drive from Atlanta, 1 1/2 hour drive from Asheville, and about a 4-hour drive from Charlotte. Other possibilities: You could take a day trip to Biltmore House in Asheville, Gatlinberg TN, Helen GA, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.
Do You Work With A Property Manager?: We, Sonny and Harvalyn, are your hosts, as well as the owners of the cabin. We live just down the hill from the cabin. We we be the ones to greet you when you arrive. Then we'll check you in, give your your keys, and wish you an unforgettable vacation. And since we are close by, we are happy and glad to answer any questions that may come up and help to make your vacation special and memorable.
