Duluth House Details
Property Description: This house is located on more than 10 acres of beautiful woods complete with lots of deer. Enjoy exploring the woods, hiking, or simply the landscaped lawn for a picnic. The house overlooks the St. Louis River which is directly connected to Lake Superior (it is a short boat ride to the lake). The peacefulness of this setting will become apparent driving down the driveway before you have even arrived at the house. Minutes from town you will feel relaxed and 'away from it all' as soon as you arrive.
Duluth/Superior Attractions: There are so many things to do in the Twin Ports area. Some of the most common attractions/activities include: Barker's Island Marina, Edna G (tugboat), Fairlawn Mansion, Fishing Charters, Glensheen (Congdon Mansion), Great Lakes Aquarium, Harbor Tour Boats, Hartley Nature Center, Ice Skating, Karpeles Manuscript Museum, Lake Superior Maritime Vistior Center, Minnesota and Wisconsin State Parks, Police and Fireman's Museum, Bong Airplane Museum, North Shore Scenic Railroad, Spirit Mountain (skiing), St. Louis County Historical Society, Theatres (live), Movie Theatres, Omnimax Theatre, Whaleback Ship Museum, Grandma's Marathon, Ship Watching, antiquing, Bayfront Blues Fest, Dragonboat Races and Festival, etc
Ski: Down Hill Skiing: The ski hill in Duluth (Spirit Mountain) can be seen driving to the entrance of the property. There are also smaller ski hills locally such as Fond du lac and Chester Park Ski Hill. Drive a little up the shore and ski at Lutsen! If cross country is your thing. A three minute drive from the house gets you to the Park in Superior that has great trails for everyone. Spirit Mountain, Fond du lac and Chester Park also have cross country skiing available. This is the perfect spot for relaxing after a great day of skiing. It has many amenities for the members of your party along for the trip who would prefer to sit in front of the fire than a trip down the hill.
Golf: There are multiple golf courses in the area including but not limited to: Cloquet Country Club, Nothrland Country Club, Ridgveiw Country Club, Enger Tower Golf, Nemadgi Golf Course, and Superior National Golf Course.
