There is great hiking of primary and secondary rainforests, waterfall rappelling, canopy zip-lining, ocean kayaking, surfing, horseback riding, world-class sport fishing, bird-watching, night hikes, and even private boat trips to the Orchid Sanctuary or the Animal Refuge. The property was developed by owners and designers, Ginny and Joe, and is truly amazing, from the lush gardens and coconut palms to the family-friendly ocean beach: the Beach House is directly on the beach and has sweeping ocean views -- it has wide open spaces, a chef's kitchen, wrap-around balconies, as well sleeps up to 10, with 3 full baths. We also have available two large Bungalows that each sleep three to four comfortably, complete with private baths as well as equipped kitchenettes. Want a chef? Just ask - Pablo prepares your 3 course meal while giving a fun cooking lesson - often brings his guitar

The main house has a minimum rental time of three nights. We often have family groups of 12 - 16 who rent the entire property. We have a full-time staff who will cater to your needs, be it tours, massages, dining in or out, yoga classes, or whatever you are in the mood for. Housekeeping is provided every other day; there are 2 kayaks on the property for guest use (a double and a single), and there are bike and boogie board rentals available in town - you might want to bring your own snorkel gear. Our personal Tour Coordinator will describe, taylor, and arrange all activities and tours. There are restaurants nearby and in-town: no one serves breakfast on the beach, however, so you might want to partake of our lovely Optional Continental Breakfast Basket of fresh fruits, breads, cereals, yogurt and juices & occasional Gallo Pinto: Cost is according to group size.

Not to miss!!!! Tuesday Barbeque Nights on the Beach (a 4 minute walk from YCL), at the ocean's edge, completely lit by Tiki torches. Also, every Friday night, there is a fun and lively Spaghetti Night (actually a varied buffet), complete with music and dancing. R!ental cars are available, but not necessary - getting around is easy, and we make all the arrangements.You do not need to speak Spanish, as our property manager speaks English as well as Spanish. American dollars are fine!!
