Borrego Springs House Details
The Desert House: This comfortable, open and roomy one story house is fully furnished and can accommodate up to 6 individuals. Even more upon request. The master bedroom has a queen bed, walk-in closet and attached bath. The second bedroom has a double bed with attached shared bath. Bedroom three has a queen bed and shares a bath with bedroom two. The great room is huge and has a convertible sleeper and a real wood burning fireplace (firewood is provided). The kitchen has a gas stove top range, side by side refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher and walk-in pantry. The kitchen is fully equipped with just about everything you may need. The laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen and is equipped with a washer and gas dryer. For your comfort, the house is fully conditioned with ceiling fans, cold air and heat and most rooms are wheelchair access friendly.
Things to do in Borrego: Explore the famous prehistoric animal sculptures. Anza-Borrego desert region has more than 550 types of fossil plants and animals, ranging from microscopic pollen and water fleas to mammoth tusks and giant camel skeletons. Prehistoric animals sculptures depict those that roamed this area a million or so years ago. A public walking and open range horse trail to view the sculptures start at the Ranch. Desert off road rides and tours are available through tour companies in town. Visit the Badlands, palm canyon, spilt mountain, washes, and sand dunes all on State or Federal BLM properties. Most desert areas are free of charge to visit or a minimum car charge may apply. Other places of interest are: Indian Casinos just 30 miles away, Palm Springs just 90 miles away, Julian mountains (old west mining town) just 30 miles from the ranch (watch out for snow days), San Diego is just 75 miles away, West Salton Sea Recreation area just 30 miles away, wine tasting regions just 45 miles away.
