Bartlett House Details
Activities and attractions : This is a great 4-season vacation spot. Wake to the sight of the sun rising over Bartlett Mountain and watch the seasons change from the Attitach area, across the Moats, the Ledges, and southerly all the way to Chicora. There is something for everyone here, almost limitless hiking and nature trails, plus golf and fishing. Mount Washington and Pinkham Notch, Kancamagus Highway, Cathedral Ledge, Echo Lake State Forest are all nearby. Discount Outlet shopping in North Conway is down the road. In winter, you have skiing at a choice of resorts. You can almost walk to Mt Cranmore, while Attitash, Wild Cat, Bretton Woods, and others are a short drive. There is also skating, tubing, ice fishing, snowmobiling. For the kids, almost around the corner are Story Land, Conway Scenic Rail Road, a mini-railroad, driving range, and a huge park/playground with skating in the winter.'The Polar Express' runs for the kids in December.
