Winter and Summer Resort: This home is ideally suited for winter and summer vacations. Attractions in winter include two famous cross-country skiing resorts close by (Tahoe/Donner - 2 miles, and Royal Gorge -15 miles), a nice family downhill ski area within 2 miles, and famous Tahoe-Area ski resorts nearby (Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, North Star, and others). Attractions in summer include Tahoe/Donner resort facilities (golf, tennis, two open pools, hiking trails, boating on Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming in the lakes, mountain biking on endless trails and various degrees of difficulty, etc.etc.
Ski: Alta Vista is located in the Tahoe/Donner resort which has a world-famous cross-country ski area and a family oriented downhill ski area (one quad, one regular lift, two rope tows)
Golf: Guests of Alta Vista have access to the Tahoe/Donner Golf Course and other Tahoe/Donner recreational facilities, including tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness center, Downhill and Cross-Country ski areas, deeded beach and boat ramp at Donner Lake, for nominal fees.
