Waimea Bay has waves that can reach 25 feet in the winter, but in summer and spring months its calm, turquoise-blue bay offers one of the world's greatest swimming and snorkeling areas. Sunset Beach offers another great spot for swimming, examining tide pools, and collecting shells in the summer. Pipeline is always a must to check out.
