Scarborough and Pine Point Cottage Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Cancellations – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation.
- Damage/Reservation Deposit - A damage/reservation deposit of $200 is required. This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is not applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are cleaned.
c. All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked.
d. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
e. No linens are lost or damaged. - Payment – An advance payment of $1000 is required 60 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rental. Please make payments in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Ambrose Berry. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The Balance of Rent is due fourteen (14) days before your arrival date.

Scarborough and Pine Point Cottage Details
Portland Maine is a fifteen minute car ride from cottage and features museums, restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing. Kennebunk and Ogunquit Maine are fifteen minutes south of cottage and popular tourist destinations. L.L Bean and Cabela's are within an hour's drive, along with outlet shops in Kittery Maine. Several wildlife refuges are a bike ride's distance: Rachel Carson's Wildlife Preserve, Saco Heath maintained by the Nature Conservancy, the Audubon Center on the Scarborough Marsh, the Scarborough River Wildlife Sanctuary, the Eastern Trail bike path which will extend to Portland soon, and the 435 acre Broadturn Working Farm.
