Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- A $75.00 cleaning charge is added to the base rate for parties who have dogs or 2 nite minimum stay.
- Mastercard and Visa , personal/business checks, or money orders drawn on US banks are acceptable forms of payment.
A $250. security deposit is required ($500. for up to 2 dogs), and refunded within 14 days of departure provided the following conditions are met:
1) No damages are incurred to the residence or it's facilities beyond normal usage.
2) Rubbish is place in trash receptacles provided on site by Owner.
3) Residence is left in a reasonably clean and orderly state.
4) Keys are left on kitchen counter and the residence locked when your party departs.
5) No linens, or household articles are damaged or stolen.
6) Dishes, glasses, and pots and pans are washed and stored away.
7) Pet issues have not been incurred, including hair.
PAYMENT:
50% down at time of reservation, and the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival including the security deposit.
CANCELLATIONS:
Any cancellation before 60 days of a scheduled arrival date receives a full refund within 14 day - Cancellations or changes resulting in a shorter duration of stay less than 60 days of a scheduled arrival, forfeit
the first reservation deposit. Owner will endeavor to accommodate schedule changes for the client within reason.
CHECK IN - CHECK OUT
As early as 9 AM of the arrival date, and 12 PM of the departure date unless otherwise discussed and agreed to by the Owner.

- The baths are comfortable and are well equipped with towels, wash clothes, and basic necessities in case our guests forgot something. The outside shower is by the rear entry to the great room, and may be used year round.

- The teepee is typically for warmer weather use. It has a stained concrete floor, a large woodstove for heat, a queen sized futon, and two twins. Additionally, the teepee has electricity, lighting, a stereo, and coffee maker. The great room couch has a very comfortable queen sleeper which is easy to set up. The 3rd bunk in the upstairs bedroom is a floor level slider.

Dillon Cabin Details
The Adventure: Nestled adjacent to the Beaverhead National forest, the Wildwood Retreat looks upon a beautiful mountain vista with an unobstructed panorama. The jack-fenced 3 1/2 acre property is 1 mile off the paved Polaris Scenic Byway. Maverick Mountain ski area is nearby, with it's southerly facing slopes to our Northwest. Elkhorn Hot Springs, 5 miles up the byway, is an excellent place to relax, and have dinner in it's cozy restaurant. A 4 mile hike up to Sawtooth Lake through the forest to the east, brings one to an amazing amphitheatre. The deep alpine lake is loaded with high mountain brook trout ready to leap at the cast of a fly. It's common to see elk, deer, moose, and upland birds in the area. During the summer one can go a few miles to dig for crystals at Crystal Park, or explore the gold mining ghost town of Coolidge. Travel over to the Big Hole, and visit Jackson Hot Springs, or the Big Hole National Battlefield to learn about the plight of the Nez Pearce Indians.
More Adventures: To the south, you can visit Bannock State Park, Montana's first territorial capital, and an 1850's gold mining town preserved in an arrested state of decay. Grasshopper Creek, the Big Hole, the Beaverhead, and the Wise river are excellent places to go for blue ribbon trout fishing in the vicinity. The Clark Canyon reservoir 15 miles south of Dillon is a great place to catch fat rainbows. Big game hunting for elk, deer, and antelope affords excellent opportunities in the area for the outdoors-man. The snowmobiling is fabulous in the region, with many groomed trails, and rentals available in the Grasshopper Valley. Hiking opportunities are fabulous with many trails, accessible mountain peaks, creeks, and high alpine meadows in the vicinity. Everywhere one goes from the Wildwood Retreat is filled with beauty, and adventure is never far around the corner!
The Peace: The Wildwood Retreat is a cozy place to relax, read a great book, to play, listen to the breeze soughing through the doug firs, breath the crisp mountain air, and to celebrate life itself. Upon entering the home itself, one quickly feels the warmth of the timbers, logs, and natural materials used throughout. It is a very rugged work of art to be enjoyed by those who venture here and seek the journey. One might say the home has a soul, and the owner wants his guests to feel at home during their stay.
