Pioneer House Details
We have with in 15 mins of the Mountain house a snow park that the kids can have fun playing with snowballs, sledding and tubing. Silver Lake (20 minute away)and Bear Lake( 15 minute away) are great lake to go fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming. There are many rivers & streams to go trout fishing. You can take you pennies 20 minutes away to Jackson Rancheria Casino and hit the jackpot, then eat at one of their many buffets or restaurants. If you want something bigger. Then take a beautiful 90 minute drive on Highway 88 to South Lake Tahoe and enjoy the excitement of the casinos, shows and bright lights only to come home to the peace and quite of the High Sierra mountain house. For those Arnold Palmers, 20 minutes from the house is Mace Meadow Golf Club it has an 18 hole golf course & Country Club. Fore! Go off and explore the many caverns, caves, gold mines and take a picnic to Indian Grinding Rock State Park.
Come to the High Sierra's to break away from all the stress and worries life brings. Come enjoy the peace and quite... If just kicking back in the house is your cup of tea then play the many games we have in the house, read a book or watch a good movie.
