Activities: Winter activities include skiing at Cataloochee Ski Resort, approximately 7 miles from Wolf Laurel creek side cabin. Blue Ridge Parkway is approximately 4 miles from the cabin. Cherokee is only 15 miles away. Walk the creek path, hike in the mountains, browse the unique shops in Maggie Valley and Waynesville.
Driving Conditions: Driving conditions in the mountains can be very different from those encountered where you live. You do need a four-wheel drive vehicle in the winter to access this property, as you do with most properties in Maggie Valley above 3500 feet elevation.
